In Colmec, a Factory Acceptance Test has just been successfully completed, in the presence of the customer, of a complete hot air/high speed extrusion and vulcanization line for the production of silicone insulated cables.
The test, other than ensuring that the line meets all the specified operating and production requirements, is an opportunity to transfer to the customer adequate training regarding the line start-up and the operating procedures.
The silicone cables offer excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, atmospheric agents and humidity, meeting the safety requirements necessary for use in the aeronautical, railway industries and in the new hybrid and full electric cars of automotive industries.
